🌿 Why spray tan can turn green
	•	Reaction with oils/lotions: Most competition tanning products contain DHA. If your skin has oils, deodorant, perfume, or certain sprays (like magnesium oils with added ingredients), it reacts and develops a green tint.
	•	Old tan product: If the tanning solution itself is old or oxidized, it can also apply green.
	•	Skin prep issues: Not exfoliating well or leaving residue (soap, moisturizer) on the skin.

✅ How to prevent it
	1.	Exfoliate 3–4 days in a row before tan (remove dead skin + product build-up).
	2.	No lotion, deodorant, perfume, or oils on the day of tanning — skin must be 100% clean and dry.
	3.	Avoid magnesium oils or sprays directly before tan. If you use magnesium, apply it the night before, not same day.
	4.	Check product freshness — always use professional competition tanning brands and confirm solution is not expired.
	5.	Wear loose, dark clothing after tanning to avoid rub-off and reaction with fabrics.
